17. Load combination charts


The following tables list the maximum stresses of the arch and of the spandrels in all the load combinations considered.

We highlight that in two different load combinations the maximum compressive stresses in the crown region of the arch are not localised in the same section. The same yields for the springer regions. Moreover the maximum values at the extrados of the crown region and those at the intrados of the crown region do not occur in the same sections.
